Full Description: The "Seminar on e-Government for Development: Strategies and Policies" is a two-week seminar that includes lectures, panel discussions, and interactive workshops presented by leading e-Government experts from USAID, USTTI Board member corporations, private sector firms, universities, NGOs, and multinational organizations. The seminar curriculum includes modules that address a broad range of topics organized around four core themes:
an enabling environment for e-Government
technology for e-Government
e-Government applications
e-Government implementation
Participants are generally senior government planning officers, e-Government project implementors from Ministries of Planning, ICT, or finance, or from the office of the President or Prime Minister.
The June 2008 session will include the use of an online learning environment which will provide participants access to additional resources as well as means of communication before, during and after the two-week session.
